How To Save Money On Item Upgrading
World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
The upgrade of an item allows players to boost the gear score of an item to 700 and also add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory before heading to the kiln.
Certain items can be upgraded for their unique stats (like a perfectly made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) while other items, such as weapons do not change significantly after an upgrade, and therefore aren't worth upgrading.
Weapons
Weapons can be upgraded to improve their numeric stats, such as crit chance, attack damage, PvE and damage from PvP. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. Many weapons also come with an unaffected bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are equipped in a group. In certain instances, this bonus can add up to more than the amount of damage that a weapon upgrades by itself.
The cost of upgrading a weapon's capabilities is contingent on the quality of the weapon and its current level. For instance, an upgrade to a +2 weapon requires two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a gun will increase until it requires an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.
Upgrades to weapons can also change the stats of the base. This is usually a positive aspect, but it may also have negative consequences. For items that are only used in a particular build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs for instance) upgrading them could make them unusable unless you happen to have an extremely fortunate roll.
It is possible to upgrade armor items to boost their performance. This can increase the defense base of a chest or helm as well as belts and gloves. These will increase their required strength and agility. Armor also has an option to reroll its Enhanced Defense%, meaning that it can sometimes change its roll to a lower value.
The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats it will gain upon upgrading and their respective values. This means that a weapon will gain 33% attack damage when it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. upgrade item does not mean that the weapon will hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.
Rerolling a weapon can be possible by pressing the green button on the item menu using the arrows that circle. The item will be rerolled and alter its stats, but it will not reset the weapon's levels or connect it to an account's status.
Armor
A few upgrades to your armor can make the world of difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets offer massive increases in poison or curse, fire, and magic resistance, which makes traversing tough areas a breeze. The more defense your character is, the more value you will get from every point of health you possess, so it's important to improve your armor as much as you can.
To upgrade your armor, go to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four of them, and each requires you to complete a unique side quest that involves the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the main quest and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.
Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels, and the amount of materials and Rupees required for each level will differ. In general, you're looking at anything from three to five Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees for the first upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. For instance, the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, which allows you to keep pace with a good-sized group of enemies in most cold climates and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded to +20 defense, giving you enough protection to withstand a full on raid with a handful of friends.
It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll want to focus on upgrading it for physical power if you're Warrior or Spell Power when you're a Mage. It's also worthwhile to save your armor upgrades for the armor you'll be wearing at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you'll wear for the final boss fight and the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.
By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town and you will be able to gain some benefits to your armor. It is generally recommended to save these upgrades to the weapon you'll use to win the game. For example the Longsword or Battleaxe. But it's useful to have some upgrades for the chest armor and helmets to let you get around a few monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquids that when consumed by the player, give the player with a temporary effect. There are five types of potions, each with specific effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to increase their effectiveness. Alternatively, the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust them.
Upgrades to your potion require a specific amount of XP. This can be earned through crafting them on a crafting table or by placing them in the Alchemist chest. However, the cost of upgrading will vary based on the kind of potion you wish to upgrade, as well as on the item's Mark Level as well as its rarity.
To upgrade a potion, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open an GUI that lets you select the potion you wish to upgrade, and the amount of experience they will provide when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at a time, and their XP will be added to the total XP you currently have.
Once a poton is upgraded in quality, it will not deteriorate in the event that you make use of it again or break the bottle in the container it is kept. You can also rename the potion by clicking it in your inventory.
There were a few updates to the mechanics of potions in version 1.7.2. For example the splash potions now have the duration of 0:08 (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds displayed on the hover display for the item). The potion table is constructed from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. This allows it to be used by players playing Survival and Bedrock. In contrast to the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions are not able to be mixed in cauldrons. Similarly, using a potion in a cauldron that is full drains the potion and refills the bottle.
Finally, there are lingering potions, which are brewed with dragon breath and splash potions. In the same way, a lingering potion' effect is extended by adding redstone to it. The potion table has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added, like the potion of leaping and decomposition.
Trinkets
A trinket is a tiny and affordable ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to a small ornament or object that serves a function but isn't important as a trinket. In some cultures, a trinket can be used to express friendship or affection between family members.
Players can upgrade trinkets as well as weapons and armor, as well as potions. item upgrading can be obtained by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other item upgrades, trinkets can be traded out at any time without losing their status.
The upgrade vendors can be found in major cities and in the capital of each zone, as well as in in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are purchased using tokens, gold or fragments of a rare trinket.
The upgrade of a trinket can be a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a new one. One can upgrade a trinket for just 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as previous one, and will have an additional upgrade bonus of 1.
Once the old Trinkets have become not usable, they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase both their power and value with time. They can also be traded between players and are an attractive alternative to gold.
In general, players should upgrade their most important items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are first upgraded before their secondary gear, and then other pieces of equipment they won't replace in the near future (such as rings or cloaks). When choosing the items to upgrade, players should also consider the class's preferred stats. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to a tank player, then they should upgrade their chest, helm and shoulders.
When they are no longer useful trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket has an additional 1% bonus. A re-upgrade, however, will destroy the trinket unless it can be salvaged using a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a higher tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than buying a new one.
